i say we keep the Monroe Doctrine intact, i think John Quincy Adams had it right...so lets enforce it!!!!! i say we bluff like no other and send a squad of ac-130 spectre gunships over there and just put them on patrol, a sort of Fort Sumter type approach, like if they attack us, then its all out war, we can just build an enormous fallout shelter over the entire U.S. and just nuke the entire world and start over right? that makes more sense than to let those blasted commies have their way

ok, let me rephrase...i think that this is probably some sort of subliminal taunt by putin or whoever runs that place these days and chavez towards the U.S., i think its very similar to the missle crisis, but we have no JFK to pull us out of this one...lucky for us, we have DUBYAH! so whatever comes of this will be up to our current president. and i think it will severley weaken our relationship with Russia IF anything is sparked by the "drama" ,if you will, of the situation, and in all seriousness, John Q. Adams was most certainly right about the Monroe Doctrine, this hemisphere is ours!!!! and Rush-yawns? drew, i love it
