It was again, incredibly boring. I thought the questions were typical and nothing different was said. Both had moments where they completely avoided the question. There was an opportunity for Obama to seal the deal and one for McCain to attempt to bring it back. Neither really succeeded. I think that the debate was more towards Obama's favor because he has the significant lead at the moment.

i would agree with Becca in most aspects of what she said except for the fact that McCain won the debate, in the moment. He lost in the long run of this though, because He had to get through to the American people and make himself stand out on this debate which he did at times, but not enough, while on the other hand Obama just had to keep himself composed and sound like a capable candidate and not let McCain take the show, which he did. McCain spoke better and hit the issues more, but did not set himself apart enough to make this a win.

they were so much more aggressive with one another almost to the point of being mean. i liked it. this might only be my opinion but i felt like the moderator liked mccain more... if i were a person in the audience asking a question i woulda peed my pants from intimidation!! haha they are so brave. anyway i enjoyed it more than their first debate.

Brokaw was totally biased and while the the moderator of the vp debate is a known Obama supporter, that didn't come across in her moderation.

I thought it was kinda funny when Mc Cain got all mad when he wanted time to be able to elborate just as Obama did. Also, they got kind of rude to each other.. Which increased tension. Although I'm pro Obama, I think that his idea of invading Pakistan is dumb, and that Mc Cain made himself look alot better, but he normally does when it comes to military. Yet, ultimatly, I think Obama will win.

i agree in that the debate was pretty much the same as the other night
with the exception that the candidates were standing up

i was under the impression that there was more than one debate in order for the candidates to present themselves in a different light for all three occasions

to be honest i feel like i didnt even see a different side to either of the candidates
i felt more than one instance of deja vu in which both candidates were repeating themselves word for word
for example
mccain
"when i look in vladimir putin's eyes i see three letters a K a G and a B"

and obama
"if the leaders in pakistan, are incapable or unwilling to catch osama bin laden, we should go in there and take him out"

despite the fact that the debate was a nearly the same as the other night, i feel obama won in that he presented himself in an acceptable fashion and was portrayed as a capable president.

In addition he did this in a "debate format" that he was supposed to be weak in when relatively compared to mccain

I honostly wasn't too impressed with either candidate. They didn't wont to answer the question they were asked, and failed to follow the rules that they had established beforehand

I thought McCain was incredibly boring and spent too much time attcking Obama. He should have spent more time on the actual questions.

I think they both did a poor job. Neither answered the questions thoroughly. Towards the end Obama seemed to really be at a loss for words, and rambled on til he finally decide what he wanted to say.
The debate almost wasnt worth watching for me.

i think that, ultimately, the debate itself wasa tie, but overall Obama virtually won as this was a time when mccain really needed to convince voters that he was the better candidate to sway more people to his side, which he did not do. both candidates stated what they have been saying the whole campaign- no new information.
