The Nook - U.S. Troops Lower Profile

U.S. troops will start gradually reducing their visibility and presence in Iraq. But U.S. officials say this won't decrease their combat ability. And all future missions will have to be approved by the Iraqi government. And all U.S. troops have to leave Iraq by December 31, 2011.

Is this a good plan?
Should our troops leave sooner?

yeah, yeah, sure, sure. Are they going to be hiding behind trash cans? Or in air vents? Gone by 2012 though, it sounds good, but let's see if it actually happens.

it think this is a good plan for now, but eventually we should pull out fully to see how they can function on their own.

I think this is a good plan, but as for pulling completely out i doubt it will happen we have troops in places that were battle grounds in WWII

My sources tell me that they'll be hiding in air vents, not behind trash cans.

i think it we SHOULD leave sooner, but in reality, its just not going to happen.

It is a good plan. We can't pull them out all at once, so it's good we have a date set for gradual reduction.

Special forces already dress to look like civilians.
