Middle East Affairs

Jerusalems Prime Minister once again warns the Lebanese Hezbollah militia not to attack Israel. He warned them that Israel was "ready to respond on its northern front if threatened".
"Let it be clear, we will make no compromise on our security... No one should get the wrong impression over our determination and our alertness on any front. We are not afraid of any confrontation or threat," Prime Minister Olmert said.

Do you find it wrong for him to react this way?
Should the Lebanese Hezbollah militia be afraid?

Yes they should be afraid, people should be smart enough by now: You don't go against Israel.

Dumb Middle Easterns should know not not to mess with Isreal. But I guess they don't learn from their mistakes.

Plus if you take it too far with Israel, the US might have to get involved. And nobody wants that.

i think he was good in saying this, he wants to protect his country, and he has the right to defend it. He is juts stating that they are prepared to defend themselves, and frankly i dont think hezbollah should cross their fronts, but that doesnt mean they wont.
