the washington post article is pretty ridiculous

but the connecticut post
just
wow

who would be so heartless?
or in this case
kidney-less?

apparently in today society you really can buy anything

The kid driving the car is completely crazy. I don't quite understand why his parents were arrested, but I didn't read the article all that carefully.

Divorces are ridiculous. And the fact that the Supreme Court is hearing it is even stranger.

The whole kidney thing is ridiculus. After you give someone an organ you can't just change your mind and get it back in the divorce.

hey, if the husband is entitled to his kidney, i think he should get it! i think its completely fair to include in the settlement, if the marriage was horrible, and he donated more than an arm and a limb, then he should be able to get back what is rightfully his

How did that kid know how to drive a car? I didn't know you had to press the brake to shift into reverse/drive until I was 12.

I kind of hope the guy gets his kidney back, that would make the story that much more ridiculous.

isnt there a contract that comes with getting a transplant? and if not then there should be due to this, because this could easily happen again with other people. i also felt sympathy for the parents who got arrested and charged due to their kid. i felt it was too harsh. i mean the parents with the kid and the gun in the other story should be charged more than these parents. you wouldnt think to hide keys from a child its rare for them to want to drive the car on their own to school. (unlike a gun which might be appealing for a four year old boy)

Both pretty unfortunate stories.
And I've never even heard anything close to the kidney thing before.

haha at the same time it backs up the idea that this nation is "hollywood based" meaning we like to be entertained in everything, and if this guy isnt actually leagally insane maybe his idea was to just create a frenzy and have people think hes nuts. Im interested to see the out come of this case
