Winning war and peace in Sri Lanka [Asia]

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/7852700.stm

Do you think it's possible for the Sri Lankan military forces to keep control over their re-captured land and have consistant government backing, or do you think that the Sri Lankan government will abandon all cause if the rebel forces increase?

i think that they were right when they said that the government is going to need more military. the rebels are not going to go out without a fight, and especially since it is an ethnic fight they are very passionate and passionate people just do not give up. i think if the government puts all their effort and trully wants to stop the rebels they can, but it will take alot of work. i also believe that there is a possibility the Sri Lankan government may just give up when it seems like there is no hope. Like the man at the end said, the problem will not be automatically fixed but it will be an evolution.
