NORTH EAST, Pa. - Police in northwestern Pennsylvania say they're stumped by a burglary: The thief took some jellybeans from a home but nothing else.

Sgt. Mark Zaleski said it remains unclear whether the suspect wanted only jellybeans. Or maybe that's all the thief had time to grab.

Police said the burglar broke a front door window Friday night and took the jellybeans from a dining room table. The homeowner reported that nothing else was missing or even moved.

he just wanted to exert control over the people in the house by showing that he could break in. the jelly beans have nothing to do with it. it could have been a beany baby and it would have had the same message. some guy just trying to show that he can control other people and get a reaction out of them

that is hilarious! i dont know why someone would go through all of that just to get some jelly beans. i doubt that that was their intention. they probably got scared or hungry and just took them and left..

i love jelly beans. one time i made a pass at an atrractive girl in the car next to me. she wasn't having it. so when we took off i thought she might want some jelly beans so i distributed some to her out the window. they collided with her windshield and i guess this really upset her. at the next stop sign she got out of her car and tried to pull me out of my passenger side position. i knew she wasnt right for me because she doesnt like jelly beans.

BEWARE OF THE JELLYBEAN BURGLAR!!! He'll strike if your walking out of the shop, or right form your house. Personally, jelly belly's were a great invention.

The burgler possibly could of been searching for a specific item but as time was crucial and he couldn't find what he was looking for he must of had a sweet tooth and snatch the jelly beans. Interesting enough right? At least it was a jar of jelly beans instead of something more valuable.
