Euna Lee and Laura Ling were captured by North Korea on the charges that they have committed "hostile acts" on March 17. They are going to be tried in early June. These two women were on an assignment near Tumen River, where North Koreans flee to cross the border into China, and could be jailed for up to 5 years if the unannounced charges are really charges of espionage.
This is such bull. North Korea is obviously trying to get Obama's attention with this for concessions for their nuclear program. Its absolutely hilarious reading the charges that the North Korea media said these two reporters did. They'll be freed eventually, we just have to send a high level negotiator.
