Actor Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter in the popular series was reportedly photographed at a party smoking cannabis by the Daily Mirror newspaper.
It said "The pictures splashed across today's Daily Mirror show the Harry Potter star (there are so many "pot" jokes here that we can't even be bothered to make them) smoking what's known in the business as "a suspicious cigarette (spliff)" while a friend draws a comedy moustache (all moustaches are fairly funny, though) on his laughing face at a house party in Camden."
Radcliffe's spokeswoman denies the allegations, saying that it is no secret Radcliffe smokes roll-up cigarettes, and that "necessary action" will be taken against such allegations

No he does not have the "right to party during his adult years" because it is illegal to smoke weed. And if the magazine could not prove that it was actually weed, they should not make these accusations.

I heard about this. They said he wasn't smoking weed, that it was just a regular cigarette. If he is just smoking regular cigarettes then let him smoke. There are other actors and actresses out there who do way worse things then he does. Just because he is "Harry Potter" does not mean he should be treated any differently and made to look like the perfect person. Look at all these teen "role models" like Miley Cyrus, they act worse and are way more provacative. I highly doubt Daniel was smoking weed because I don't think he would be dumb enough to do it in public. He should just be left alone. He is 20 years old and everyone who follows the movies can see that he is growing up.

It doesn't really seem like the news source researched and verified their claim that he was smoking weed. But I don't think he, or any other people just famous for being movie stars, should be role models for children. Just because he is in popular childrens' movies? That's no reason to look up to him. Kids should look up to people doing genuine good for the world.
i really think that people take to much time to follow people around and spy on their everyday lives. i think that it is just wrong. anybody can make something look bad if they want to. weather or not he was smoking weed or it was just a cigarette, it dosent matter because so many people do it anyway and if we suddenly see someone famous do it, everyone jumps out of their skin. i may not agree wit pot or anything but i think its just sick how many people actually follow celeberties around and say things they know nothing about. there is just way to much drama in this world. it really gets annoying.

haha i was just about to say that. and come on hes 20 years old he has the right to party howerver he likes, just because he plays harry potter doesnt mean hes going to be a kid forever
I love Harry Potter and I always will. (much better than twilight). The movies are definitely not as good as the books. As for Daniel Radcliffe smoking weed I honestly could care less. He is not hurting anyone. As for the role model factor, it's not his fault that children look up to him. I'm sure that not many people are actually good role models. Role models are real people and real people have real problems, personality flaws and bad habits.
