Obama's decision regarding US-EU summit

Washington recently announced that Obama will not be attending this years US-EU summit. EU are currently speculating that the Obama administration see's EU as irrelevant. The person who will be substituting for Obama at the summit has still not been determined.

Do you agree with the European leaders saying that Obama's administration see's Europe as irrelevant?

Well, even though Obama coud be all tied up by his agenda and stuff,
it's not a good idea to not attend the US-EU summit.
It's sort of disrespectful to have a respresentative go instead because
most likely the others are having their country leaders attend.

Regarding the question, I don't think Obama's administration has the
guts to see the EU as irrelevant. I'm just going to say, in a very optimistic
way, that the adimistration is too busy and has unfortunately forgotten about it.

I agree with the European leader's criticism, but I don't think it means the administration sees Europe as irrelevant. When speaking economically, there is no such thing as an irrelevant continent... especially not Europe

Obama is way to busy at home right now his the president of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA not europe, his main responsibilities are here at home.
