Swimming with sharks saves lives

"Welcome to Donsol, the home of the gentle giants," Alan Amanse says smiling broadly at us as we awkwardly scramble onto the traditional fishing boat.

"We have something must be followed; the rules about whale shark interaction."

He's delivered this speech countless times, but says he never tires of seeing newcomers eager faces. Donsol in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines, was once a sleepy fishing village, now it buzzes with excited tourists who flock here for what many later describe as a life changing experience -- swimming with the largest fish in the ocean, the whale shark.

I think that sharks are very frightenting. I would never swim with a shark.

I like whale sharks.. And if given the opportunity I'd definately swim with them:) You only live once after allllll

i hate sharks in general!!! i wouldnt want to swim with them but i know that i do when i am surfing. which is totally freaky but its well worth it because i LOVE to surf. but i wouldnt just get into a tank with a bunch of sharks. i dont want to die haha
and whale sharks arent that bad but i still wouldnt want to swim with one. i'd rather swim with dolphins! so much more funn!

hmm i have kinda an aphobia of whales..so i dont really see myself liking them as sharks either :)

Well I really don't like sharks but if I was sure I wouldn't get bit I'd definately swim with them it'd be way cool

I think that sharks are really neat animals, but you could not pay me enough money to swim with them.

whale sharks are cool because they are so huge, i dont think i would swim with one though

no sharks are not neat at all.. i think that they are very scary.. i would never swim with  them either.
