Does he have anyvalidity to his argument, or even the slightest chance of him getting something out of the lawsuit? [4 vote(s)]

A man broke into a Colorado home after being chased by the police and told the residents, the Rowleys, that he would pay them an unspecified amount of money to keep him hidden.  The Rowleys fed him and watched movies with him until he fell asleep, then they bolted.  Can he even do this?  Also, what kind of idiot falls asleep when you are being chased by the cops, while sitting with people who could easily turn you in?  What do you guys think? Does he have any credibility at all in his lawsuit?  He claims it was a verbal agreement.  Can you even sue over a verbal agreement if there is no proof?
