Team Cav had fun bowling and BBQing with Teams Mounce and Switzer yesterday, and also just ending a very, very busy May with some relaxed and happy family time :). Lucy got to march on the field at Angel Stadium for Girl Scout Night - though she said she would have preferred to do so for the Dodgers :).

Well this weekend sucked. My favorite hockey team the Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the team I hate the most (the Boston Bruins). The Bruins scored off lucky bounces and the Pens had trouble crashing the net and creating scoring oppurtunities. I did not go to prom because I feel it is a waste of time and money. I don't buy into that stuff. I also realized I have a lot of studying to do for finals next week.
I had an amazing weekend, mostly due to the best prom ever! It made me a little sad though when it hit me that that was the last high school dance I will ever go to. Last week of school for seniors though!! SOOOOO excited!
On Friday night my parents threw a suprise party for Megan and I with a bunch of our friends! I was kind of terrified at first, but it was SO fun. And then of course prom was a blast! The only downside was that I was up until 3am after the party and 4am after prom, so I am still trying to catch up on my sleep!
Friday the musical theater class had our end of the year CABARET which was amazing i had a solo and a group number plus 4 class songs... it was an amzing night and a fun yet said way to say goodbye to our seniors... Prom was fun (other than drama in my prom group....) I started getting ready at noon which seems rediculous but i was still getting ready when everyone came over to my house for pictures :P we didnt get home until 3:30am and i woke up yesterday at 3 so i slept for almost 12 hours :)
My weekend was pretty terrible. Prom was easily one of the worst nights of my life. I'm really hoping this week goes better, I really need it at this point.
Loved this weekend! Prom was one of the best dances I've been to. Then I got 5 hours of sleep and went to church (which was much needed!) now that life is settling down, my friends seem to be happy and content. Which is always good :)
