DUMB LAWS at the extreme

These types of dumb laws seem really common and are not just in Australia but also in America. These laws are often ignored and not enforced anyways but our governments should definitely be focusing on passing other important laws instead!

Have you ever caught yourself thinking... "Wow our laws are really dumb, how could anyone approve them?" Well try living in australia where the laws were kicked up a few knotches to bizzare. For example, it is illegal to where hot pink pant after midday on sunday. Its is illegal to walk on the right side of the footpath. A taxi driver is required to carry a bale of hay in their trunk. And its illegal to roam the streets wearing black clothes, felt shoes and black shoe polish on your face as these items are the tools of a cat burgular.

This is odd. However, sometimes countries retain old laws just for the sake of tradition! Like in pennsylvania you can't buy alcohol on Sundays. They're weird but kinda funny to read!

Or the law that says that people in Washington can't eat an orange in the bathtub.

well that's something you don't think about everyday. Little do we know, it's illegal to say anything bad during a call, just the NSA won't tell you. Heh.

In Oklahoma, you can be arrested for making ugly faces at a dog.

You should probably post a URL to the site you found the news from.

There should be a law against using this font

These laws sound wierd, but maybe the people in Australia have their own reasons for them. You never know until you've actually lived there.

I agree with Olga...I mean these laws could have had some legit point at some time in history and since they are so out there no one enforces them, you don't know their life...
