Top government leaders are minutes away from a meeting called by President Obama wherein he hopes a deal can be reached to avert a debt default on Thursday.  

The word is also that a number of Senators have been working behind the scenes to negotiate compromise options.

Do you think these efforts will be successful or do you think everything will continue to get shut down in the House?

Hopefully that in addition to solving the debt ceiling problem, both sides can mature up and reopen the govenment, at least temporarly

I feel that they will raise the debt ceiling but then go back to bickering and fussing and hussing like before. -.-
