A motorcyclist with a camera fitted to his helmet captures the terrifying scene as two would-be robbers try to steal his bike, only for a passing off-duty policeman to climb out of his car and shoot one of the men.A helmet camera captured the terrifying moment an armed robber was shot by an off-duty policeman as he attempted to steal a motorcycle. With the robber climbing onto his newly acquired motorcycle, the policeman steps from his car and without any warning shoots the man twice.

I think the police officer may have been a little quick on the trigger in this case. I think he may have been able to stop the man by just threatening to shoot or by shooting the tires. It is good the man did not have his bike stolen though.

Well thats what they get for trying to steal and plunder this poor man and his motor cycle. Good one on the cops part.

It's good that the guy got his bike back without it being damaged but I think the cop was a little too hasty in shooting...

That sounds intense...I wonder what was going through the victim's mind when this was all happening. Luckily there was a passing cop to protect the motorcyclist though he probably should've fired warning shots first.

Shooting i think was just too far... i think there could have been another way.

There was not enough cause for the cop to open fire on the robbers, there was alternative solutions to capturing the robbers.

Shooting is justified. Making it lethal is not.

the shooting was a bit extreme, i think it was completely unnecessary, but i am glad that the biker is safe
