What Films are Mov[ie]ing You This Fall?

It's getting toward the end of the year, the time when many of the films that are considered most Oscar-worthy get released.

What films have you seen recently/are you planning to see soon that you're excited about?

I saw Captain Phillips this weekend and it was SOOOOOOOOO intense and SUPER good.

I also saw Free Birds with the MiniCavs and it was SOOOOOOOOOO disappointing and SUPER notgood :( .

I'm super excited for About Time because it looks great and not overly cheesy but just heartwarming enough.  And obviously TeamCav is all fired up about the impending opening of Frozen (though too much fire there would probably not be a good thing :) ).

I saw Gravity and I thought it was the worst movie I've ever seen. Also, I saw Captain Phillips and it was amazing and inspiring.

I'm very excited to see "Saving Mr. Banks" it is a Disney movie coming out in Decemeber based on the true story of how the classic movie, "Mary Poppins" was create and the story of how it changed Mr. Walt Disney's view point on the production of a true story. It stars Tom Hanks as Walt.

My friends and I are going to see "Carrie" this weekend and I really want to see "12 Years a Slave" because my cousin saw it and said it was intense, emotional, and (in her words) destroying.

I kinda want to see "Ender's Game" and "Gravity." I haven't been to the theaters for awhile so any movie would do fine for me I guess

I am super excited about seeing About Time because the director directed Love Actually and Knotting Hill which are two of my favorite movies! I just wish Hugh Grant was in it! biggrin

Me too!! I forgot this one - and my husband and I were just talking this morning about how great it looks!! We saw the trailer when we were at Captain Phillips.
