THUGZ: Europe divided over Russia as NATO meets on Ukraine crisis

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/europe-divided-over-russia-as-nato-meets-on-ukraine-crisis/2014/03/04/48dacf68-a3b2-11e3-b865-38b254d92063_story.html

The crisis in Ukraine is still getting worse each day, as NATO tries to find the solution. Western countries in Europe are alarmed and may want to take bold action.

Do you think the US should get involved?

i think it is smart that the U.S. is planning to intervene economically but intervening with military would not be a good idea as it could lead to war.

I thiink the US should not get involved at this point even though they are being challenged on the world stage and have to show their strength.  I do think that we will be involved at some point if Russia keeps making advances, but in the meantime, i do not think that we should get involved.

I think it is our responsibility as the country that can cause the most change to do something for the better of ourselves and the good of the world.

I think the US should not do anything until Putin starts enacting his communistic laws on the country he has invaded. i think humans are scum on the face of the earth and wherever there are people willing to kill each other.... i say let them. We need to thin out the proverbial herd. I do however HATE communism with fervor and if Putin decides to start taking over countries to try to rebuild the Russian Empire or USSR i think we should boycott the hell out of Russia and make no comments on the situation let our policies speak for us. We can not get militarily involved with Russia there is too many nukes involved and the stakes are too high, if we try to start a war with Russia i promise you it will be mutually assured destruction.

The US should be involved. Getting involved may make the situation at worse. at most we should just rely on sanctions which will do more long term damage than short term. Once Putin starts applying deadly force and law on the territory he has taken. Putin acknowledged the repercussion of his actions and obviously has a plan. NOBODY invades with out a plan, if someone does they wont last very long. But as far as the US getting involved we should stay out until we are truly needed.
People should also consider that Russia controls about 95% or western Europe gas, and most of those pipes go through Ukraine.

I don't think we should get invovled because as of right now nothing bad is going on so there really aren't any problems. We always play peacekeeper of the world and try to keep it in order but we don't need to do this every single time something happens.
