Mr. Campuzano, Mr. Putnam, Mrs. Amann, and Mr. Gonzales are my favorite teachers on campus and they have inspired me through the years and Im so thankful to have gotten the chance to be in their class and get to know them. They always looked out for me and made sure I understood everything they were teaching and its exciting being in class when they are excited as well.
Many people simply choose to mention the teachers who are the easiest/most fun/ or because they have a good grade in their class, however, for myself this is not the case. I appreciate Mr.Thomas because although I definitely do not have my best grade in his class, nor is it my easiest, I have NEVER seen a teacher teach as much passion as that man. His love for our history is evident each and every day. His is so smart that I know that he could be any job he wanted to be, but he chose to share his love with teenagers.
My two favorite teachers at El Dorado are Mrs. Oberle and Mr. Thomas. I had Mrs. Oberle for Biology last year, and I really owe a lot to her for sparking my interest in science, and thus, in school. Before sophomore year, I was performing very poorly in school. I had a 1.67 gpa in freshman year, and at that rate, I probably wouldn't have enough credits to graduate. In sophomore year I decided to stop ruining my own future, and i decided to start trying. I did particularly well in Mrs. Oberle's class, but that was only because she had so much passion for what she taught, and there was never a day in class that I wasn't fascinated by what I was learning. Mr. Thomas on the other hand teaches one of the toughest classes i've ever taken, AP U.S History. Mr. Thomas's passion for what he teaches as well as his great personality make the class completely worth it, and it actually enables me to try much harder in his class because I want to make him proud. I've been able to do pretty well in his class, and similar to Mrs. Oberle, I look forward to his class every day because I know i'm going to learn amazing things, and that's what makes school worth it. The best teachers are those who you're able to learn the most from, as well as those who are passionate about what they teach. Mrs. Oberle and Mr. Thomas embody those two traits, and that's why they're my favorite teachers.
Mrs. Wolf and Mrs. Amann are my favorite teachers. They both care about all of their students and try to make their lessons as fun and intuitive as possible.
My favorite teacher is definitely by far Mrs. Amann. I had Mrs. Amann last year for history and this year for World Religions. She goes out of her way to make sure I am doing my homework and check on me when I'm having a bad day. From the first time I had a mental break down in her class my junior year, to this very day she always is there for me to talk through whatever problem I am having and help me come up with a solution to fix it. Without her I'm not sure I would even be graduating this year. She motivates me to do my best and I don't even have her as a teacher right now. Though her class is hard and she doesn't grade easy she is an amazing teacher. She is engaging and entertaining and has made a major impact on my life!
My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Wolf. She is constantly trying to help her students achieve the best possible grade, and she cares for all of her students. I've had her for both sophomore and senior year for language arts and I loved both of her classes.
I agree with Emma, Mrs. Amann is my favorite teacher. She legitimately cares about her students and wants the best for us. She teaches us academically as well as providing us with life lessons. She helped everyone in our class when Logan passed away and i'm just really thankful that I have her as a teacher. She is a very tough grader but she motivates her students to do their best. I've learned so much in U.S. History and World Religions and i have her to thank for that.
Mrs. Amann is by far my favorite teacher. I've had her twice this year; currently for U.S. History and last semester for religions. I can honestly say those two classes have been my favorite.
Some teachers who has really made a difference in my high school career are Mrs Perkins and Mrs Campitelli. They have both shown me a lot about being a better person and have influenced my life in positive ways.
I appreciate all of my teachers! They do so much for us and i am so thankful for everything my teachers have taught me. There are too many good teachers at this school to pick my favorites! I am still in contact with my teachers from elementary school and middle school and i appreciate them and everything they have done for me.
my favorite teacher at el dorado is Mr. O'donnell because he encouraged me to take ap lang and his sarcasm and sense of humor makes my day because no one understood it. also mrs.amann because shes awesome.
My favorite teachers at El Dorado are Mrs. Nevin because she is always there when anyone needs someone to talk to and is an amazing teacher and Mrs. Wolf who helps with everything and goes through the process step by step if were struggling.
Ms. Stark. She made language arts class the most memorable experience I've ever had as a junior, and she made reading The Great Gatsby a lot more fun and memorable. And did I mention she is hilarious when she told us she wants a hot fireman to give her CPR if by any chance she's unconscious?
The teachers i appreciate would be Mr.Campazano, Mr.O'Donnell, and Mr.Mounce. They have all been very helpful in my life with everything I do. I would not be the person I am today with their influence in my life.
