Islamic terrorist group, Boko Harem has capture the town of Chibok. This is the town where the group had previously kidnapped 200 school girls in April. Last month Boko Harem had also dismissed the claims that they had agreed to a ceasefire with Nigeria. With this it seems that the current efforts to stop Boko Harem are quite ineffective.
Do you think that more needs to be done to stop Boko Harem or do you think that the current efforts to stop them will eventually pay off?
Boko Harem is definitely someone of great influence. Unfortunately, his influence is a very negative one. The current efforts countries have taken to stop Boko Harem seem to be wielding little results as we continue to hear about him progressing. Further efforts do need to be taken. Sending in U.S. troops or something to that extent wouldn't solve this issue however. We need to remove Boko Harem from power, and prosecute his fellow leaders likewise. The removal of their leaders should cause this horrible organization to crumble, as long as future leaders are silenced before they can come to power.
Yea i think Nigeria needs to step up there act in neutralizing these terrorist groups. Its hard for neighboring countries or any other country to help when the country their trying to help isn't stepping up there actions.
They should definitely do more to stop Boko Haram, especially now after they were able to capture a town where they had already kidnapped girls, so they should ave been better protected.
The world community needs to decide when they should consider stepping in to help. To defeat terror groups we need to do more than just take out their leadership. There would still be loyal fanatics willing to continue spreading violence. There needs to be a point where someone steps up and says "ENOUGH!" and take them out.
