Venezuela holds military exercises to counter "US threat" President Nicolas Maduro mobilises 100,000 people in exercise.

Venezuela has staged a military exercise to counter an alleged U.S. threat, deploying soldiers and partisans across the country to march, man shoulder-fired missiles and defend an oil refinery from a simulated attack.

Nicolas Maduro, the socialist president, has framed recent U.S. sanctions on seven Venezuelan officials as a bid to topple him, and on Saturday his government mobilized 80,000 soldiers and 20,000 civilians as part of a 10-day military drill.

"The United States has declared Venezuela a threat," said General Vladimir Padrino, Venezuela's defence minister."And that means an imminent danger for us, so we have to use the National Bolivarian Armed Forces (FANB) as part of our constitutional mission to guarantee independence and sovereignty."

they have the right to defend themselves. we cant be biased just because we live in an opposing country. we would do the same if someone was planning to attack us

I think that they have a right to defend themselves, and if they actually attack then they are a threat

Venezuela has literary lost every international war they were involved in i think they should just cut their losses and just accept that they are a threat to nobody.

I don't think Venezuela could ever be a threat even if they try. We are AMERICA and we have nukes. We have bombs. We have drones and many people and a bunch of stuff that beats everyone else. 'Merica

Venezuela is definitely not a threat to America , we have far more resources and supplies if anything were to ever happen
