Summary:

An Australian man has been convicted for vigorously encouraging his 12 year old daughter to marry a man more than twice her age. After the marriage, the father was found guilty of procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity. He was released on bail and is set to be sentenced next month. The "husband" has been jailed for seven years and a half years for sexual abuse.

Question:

How do you think the father should be punished for making his young child marry a much, much older man against her will?

I think the dad should be in jail as long as the " Husband"

I think the dad should go to jail for longer than the "husband" and shouldn't be able to have contact with his daughter again.

He should most definitely be punished. I think he should lose complete custody of his daughter and go to jail if not longer than the husband for forcing her into that situation.

The father should go to jail longer than the husband for trying to force the unlawful marriage upon his young daughter

I think that the father should go to prison on different charges. This is just gross.

The father should be in jail for all the charges cause that is a sick thing to do.
