Where do you draw the line on torturing people?

I think torture is unethical. It has been used in order to get needed information, therefore it is a very good strategy and that is why people or groups use it. As useful as it is, its just wrong, especially since these people were killed.

the line on torturing people startes before the very first "t". it should never even start.

torture is one of the things that should be balanced between whats right and whats necessary

not even going near that line.  stay far, far from it.  like, a billion miles from it.  torturing is wrong and it's so sad that some people think they have to resort to it.

Torture is without a doubt the worst thing that can ever happen to anyone. I mean, dying a slow and painful death is better because at least you can be released from the pain by dying. Torture is absolutely horrific.

torture is definately not the answer, especially because they are innocent people. I think the guerrillas should be the ones getting tortured

If torture is not the answer than why do you think the guerrillas should get tortured? It will be the same thing. Torture is torture and should never be used. No matter if you are innocent or guilty

it is sad when groups whether it be a military or guerrilla group resort to torture to get information from people. im not about to advocate the killing of innocent people but if your going to dont make them suffer just kill them quick and clean.

I don't think there should have to be a line to draw. Torture, especially of the innocent, but in any case is unacceptable. There are other ways to get the information or whatever it is you want from someone. If you can't figure out another way to get it then you are either simple-minded and lazy or you really aren't meant to have it in the first place.
