an interesting look at the use of traffic law enforcement cameras - the ethics and the economics alike:

I hate those cameras! I feel like the police are cheating me. Ive never gotten a ticket before but I would go nuts if a digital camera gave me one!!!!!!!

i dont like that there always looking for ways to get us in trouble with the law...my dad got a ticket for turning right on a red light and he came to a complete stop- there was no sign saying no turn on red and he still got ticketed i think its totally unfair and wrong

I think its fair.  Looking at all those people breaking established driving laws, all those tickets they issued. Not the government's problem if they're breaking the law and running reds or doing hit and runs. the resolution on those things are amazing though. I'd kill for one of those.

these cameras just create more eyes for authority to punish people...i agree with jason. i think its fair, if you cant make the light dont run it.

i hate this alot. luckily i have not been caught doing anything illegal while driving, but obvioulsy i do all the time, just like everybody else that drives. However, on the other hand this is only inforcing laws that cannot always be monitored so i guess it may make the roads safer when people start to realize that they cant get away with so much anymore. Hopefully this government watch over the public stops with traffic and doesnt go deeper into our private lives.

I think its fair. If a cop saw you running a red light you would expect a ticket why should a camera be different?
