Catholiscism as official religion in Argentina

In the Political Constitution of Argentina, it states that the official recognized religion by the government is Catholocism. It also states that citizens can practice another religion, or none at all but are required to pay taxes that support The Catholic Church. Tax payers supplied over 244 million Argentine pesos this year, and 59 million Argentine pesos last year.

Is it right to force all citizens regardless of religion to pay taxes  for The Catholic Church?

(translated from spanish so may sound a little awkward.)

Everyone should have the right to freedom of religion and there should be no "official" religion for any country. Even if there is an official religion for a certain country though, they should not force those who are not of that religion to pay taxes to support it. I find that morally wrong.

90% of the argentinian population is catholic and thats why the government puts that tax, but what about the other 10%? its wrong to force them to pay for it, if they are not from that religion.

I think its rediculous that citizens should have to pay money out of their own pockets for a religion that they dont even belong to. It is fine that every Catholic person pay taxes to their church, but it is just wrong to force the support of any particular church on ALL citizens.

it isnt right to tax people on what they dont belive in, but we also get taxed on stuff we dont always belive in so were all kinda in the same boat on this one.

Tax payers should not have to give money to the catholic church. Taxes should go to important things like education, not religion. If the catholic church needs money it should ask its followers, not the whole country! If 90% of the country is actually catholic the church should have enough money and not have to force nonbelievers to pay for something that dont believe in.
