Chinese baby, rescued from toilet, is released to grandparents

A newborn baby boy who was found alive inside a toilet pipe in Jinhua, China, has been released from a hospital and taken home by his maternal grandparents, police said.

There have been no charges filed aggainst the mom

The baby is reportedly in stable condition at the hospital, while local police are investigating the mother, who says she unexpectedly gave birth while sitting on the toilet.Rescue workers were unable to pull the infant out of the toilet and went to the floor below and sawed away a section of the pipe. The baby remained stuck, however.

Someone probably flushed it down there to get rid of it, some people...

The mom flushed it down the toilet. She was found and she said she regrets doing it.
If you watch the video on it, it is extremely interesting :)

That's terribly sad. But at least the baby will be loved by his grandparents.

That's so sad. I really feel that charges should be drawn against the mother considering she aedmitted to it. No baby that young climbs into the toliet and flushes it by themselves. Plus the baby could of died from many reason. TERRIBLE PARENTS now of days

SHE CLAIMS that she was having a stomach ache and went to the bathroom and accidentally delivered the baby on the toilet and tried flushing it to get rid of the blood.... why would you flush the toilet

Even people on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" are smart enough not to flush thier babies after delivering them in whatever weird way they so happen to..."accidentally flushed" her kid down the toilet? You don't accidentally flush your dog down the toilet, and though she may not have been expecting a child there is no excuse for doing this!!

This is so sad. Why would you flush the toilet? Why wouldn't you just pick it up out of the toilet? I'm glad the baby is alive though.

i dont understand why people try to kill their children if they dont want them. You can give it up for adoption if you dont want to raise it that badly

 In China, if the parent has more than 1 child they recieve a fine from the government, and I guess this parent didn't want to be fined so she tried to kill her newborn child.
