Edward Snowden leaked government information to the American people. I don't think he's a traitor because he was trying to help the American people who were being spied on by the NSA. The information he leaked was harmful to the U.S. government but not to the people.

This is an interesting perspective on this whole Snowden issue, but he has a good point of view. I especially when he says that Snowden has been disloyal to America but not American values, which seems extremely poignant and worth remembering...
Snowden is not a traitor to America. He was doing all Americans a service and has risked his life to warn us about what the government is doing. The government may consider him a traitor, but the government isn't representative of America as a whole.
