Saudi Arabia issues warning to women drivers, protesters {Torque}

"Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry issued a warning to women caught driving and anyone engaging in demonstrations Saturday, as activists have called on the country to defy a Saudi de facto ban on women driving."

"...several Saudi women supporting the October 26th Women's Driving Campaign say they received threatening calls Thursday from men claiming to represent the Interior Ministry, according to women's rights activists who requested anonymity. The callers warned the women not to drive before, on or after Saturday..."

What do you think about the fact that these women are not allowed to drive? In the U.S. driving is a privledge that many of us take for granted and treat as though it were a right, do you think by denying these women their driving privledges they are essentially infringing on their rights?

This is terrible and definitely infringes on their rights. This campaign is step in the right direction for Saudi Arabia. Hopefully this will inspire other women to fight for their rights.

 Proper grammer would dictate this to say "...because they are a woman." or "...because they are women." Good day :)
