What's at the Core of a Great Ice Cream? Ben and Jerry Think They Know!

Ben&Jerry's revealed a new concept today along with some new flavors- "cores," which are a column of something (chocolate, caramel, etc.) in the middle of the pint.

Is this awesome or should they just fill the pint with ice cream and let people add their own toppings?

All Ben&Jerry's ice cream is amazing, my favorite is "Chunky Monkey" and "Chubby Hubby"

I don't even have a favorite icecream from Ben & Jerry but it is pretty great. I think the new idea is pretty awesome but having people add their own toppings sounds like a good idea too. They should look into that.

My favorite Ben & Jerry's ice cream is Cherry Garcia, and i think the fillings are a cool idea!

I think this is an awesome idea that could put other ice cream brands to shame. Now it makes me want to get Phish Food ice cream after reading this.

i think the fillings is a great idea. I've had like Chunky Monkey and it was really good. BTW Mrs. Cav I loved the joke "core of great ice cream". That was some cheese.

I think this is an awesome idea and i really like Ben n Jerry's ice cream. I think if you put a core of fudge into anything i'd probably take a bite.

i think its a great idea. I would love to try it but the only problem is i am lactose intolerant. So you'll have to tell me how it is.

My favorite flavor is Cinnamon Buns its SOOOO GOOOODDDD!!!!! I don't know if I will try the other flavors cause I really like the one I have all the time.

My favorite flavor is Half Baked and well most other floavors actually!! I think this new cone thing sounds really interesting and I would be up to trying it next time I go to Ben and Jerry's.
