Drug lord, EL Chapo, captured in Mexico Radio Flyers

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-02-23/most-wanted-drug-leader-guzman-captured-in-pacific-mexico-resort.html

Joaquin Guzman "El Chapo", notorious drug lord was captured in the ocean town Mazatlan in Mexico this Monday. He has been the worlds most wanted drug lord for the past 13 years, and has been responsible for 92,000 deaths/missing peoples. How do you think the Mexican government should punish him? How do you think the international drug trade will be affected?

I think that he should be put to death because he is a bad dude that did some really bad stuff. Keeping him alive wont do the world any good, so mine as well just not keep him around. Unless they want to torture him then kill him, thats fine to.

A person who has caused that many deaths and sparked so much fear into people's lives should be punished, and I think the death penalty would be a suitable punishment. However, I think that this may cause a lot of violence and crime in Mexico. Because El Chapo was in a position of such control, I believe that many smaller drug dealers will now want to increase their popularity/exercise their leadership in the absence of El Chapo.

I think that his punished harshly and severly such as life imprisonment with no bail. Also i think more people will try to step up and take his place so it will be ongoing and the drugs will keep flowing.

I think the Mexican government should kill him before he escapes again but I don't think him being captured or killed will have any affect on worlds drug trade.

El Chapo should be punished harshly and fairly for death of thousands of lives. I don't think his imprisonment or arrest would affect the global drug trade since the cartel has established unions of cooperation with so many European criminal groups.

I think he should be punished accordingly so he doesn't escape and for the crimes that he committed. I think the drug trade will take a huge blow to the industry.

I don't think the drug trade will be affected too much, especially since there are multiple cartels not just that one.

I actually think killing him is not the correct thing to do. I think he holds valuable information that the govenment could use to capture even more drug lords.

I think the Mexican government should decapitate him slowly with a knife in public just like the Cartels do to their enemies. Its only fair...

I think he should be put to death due to all the people he has killed. why a government would take care of people in prison who have commited these murders is beyond me. I think the drug trade wont be really affected

I think he should be sentenced to death and not waste money on keeping him in jail for life. He was the worlds most wanted criminal and deserves to die especially since he probably has murdered many other people.

I think that he should be sentenced to death for all of the trouble, crime, and deaths that have been caused by him over the years. I do not believe the drug trade will be affected and assume someone else will come to power soon.

I don't think that a death penalty should be applied to him. I'm aware of his actions but if he is killed through the protection of the law, how are the people any different from him? I think he should pay for his crimes. Killing him takes away his life, and that isn't necessarily him paying for his crime. What a lot of people don't understand is that this man had immense power not only over the people in the communities he took over but of his own men that worked for him. He was the most powerful drug lord but just because he's been captured and taken out of the picture doesn't mean that the other cartels and drug lords are going to back down. He had a lot of things under control and now that he is gone chaos is going to break out much worse than it had before and the people of Mexico will be in more danger than they were under his silenced rule. With him out of the pictures, the drug world will most likely spiral out of control.
