Mamato: Indian bridegroom dumped over failed maths test

"An Indian bride has walked out of her wedding after her bridegroom-to-be failed to solve a simple maths problem, according to police in Uttar Pradesh."

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-31865479

Her question: What is 15 +6 ?

My question: Would she have left you? Leave your answer below.

Hypothetically, if I were the bridegroom, my fiance would not have left me based upon my ability to answer the math question. 15+6= 21.

I feel like it's stupid that she walked out on him. Relationships are more than being good at math. If I was to get married to someone who sucked at math I wouldn't care it doesn't define them as a person.

The problem going on in this failed marriage is that in India marriages are arranged and the groom kept the fact he was epileptic a secret from his soon to be bride. A failed marriage like this would never have reached such a dramatic end if the man had openly revealed his secret to her earlier, considering that she was eventually going to find out.

She was probably a gold digger.

Because most marriages are arranged by families in India and its common for the bride and groom to not spend time with eachother, i think its acceptable for her to not want to go through with the marriage if he really is illiterate.

Since most marriages are arranged I do not blame her for walking out. Although, if that was a real relationship I do not think it would be right to walk out.

Relationships are not based on the amount of knowledge one has. Due to the fact that often time marriages in India are arranged, using the face that he is illiterate could have just been an excuse to back out of the marriage.

No she wouldn't have left me but he could of had a blank moment when trying to answer it.
