Miso Soup: Nemtsov suspect in court plea over 'forced confession'

This article is about how Zaur Dadayev is being accused of murdering politician Boris Nemtosv. Dadayev says that interrogators forced him to say what they wanted to hear after being threatened with death and the death of a friend. In court, he said there was no proof against him, and told the court he had an alibi for the time the murder took place.

Do you think that there is more information behind this case that the police isn't sharing, or is this the ugly truth behind the police system in Russia?

I believe the police aren't releasing complete information for their own purposes.

We have to remember that although Russia is "no longer" communist, they're still communist. The corrupt nature of a communist government would never release details of a police case that could possibly shed bad light upon them if in fact they did commit the crimes against Zaur that he is alleging.

I am guessing that the police are withholding information about the case from the public in order to cover up aspects of the investigation that they do not wish to be released.

I think they will do whatever they can to keep the truth from the public.

I feel like there is definitely more info to be told and that the police are trying to prevent the public from being too informed for whatever reason

There is definitely more information that is being hidden. However, there must be a reason as to why the police are holding back such information
