Just curious (for something I'm working on) - what are things that some of your teachers do (whether here or some awesometastic teacher from your middle or elementary school years) that motivate you to want to do your best in their classes? Thanks for your thoughts! :)

Things that teachers do to motivate me... they genuinely just talk to me. We have personal conversations and will come to me and ask for updates. Having such a close relationship motivates me to make them proud. With them showing how much they care about me, and want to know just about me, makes me want to impress them, and show that I care for what they do for me. It's all about having that close relationship with students so they are comfortable to ask questions. And with each individual gaining confidence and familiarity in the class room, they whole class becomes a family- and that is the best learning environment. :)
Something my teachers have done is express their utmost passion for their subject that they teach. Seeing them express such excitement and investment inspires me to reciprocate with those same feelings. Teachers who complain about how tired they are or how little they are paid makes me hate their class more than they seem to. Show me how much you love your job and I'll love your class :)
Some things that my teachers do and have done in the past to motivate me to do well in school is ...they become more than just a teacher to me. They become someone I can confide it and it just makes me want to do well in their class to not only make my parents proud but them proud as well
I am motivated by my teachers that are interested in my life outside of school. that way I know that they actually care for me instead of just giving out school work to students for fun. Also, when teachers love what they are reaching it makes me more influenced to be invoked and see why they like what they teach so much :)
