Cavannites: Oklahoma black suspect shooting video released

Authorities in the US state of Oklahoma have released video of a white reserve sheriff deputy fatally shooting a black man after apparently mistaking his gun for his Taser. The video filmed on 2 April in Tulsa shows Eric Harris, 44, chased and brought to ground before he is shot. Prosecutors are to decide whether to charge the deputy.

Do you think that this officer should be charged and brought to trial?

I think the officer should be charged because he shouldn't be able to get away with accidentally killing a man. this is manslaughter.

The officer should be charged. I don't think its accident to pull a trigger.

Yes he should be charged. That officer took an innocent life that day. You can't just face no consequences

And I agree with Tate these "accidents" have been occurring too frequently but officers should be punished nonetheless

The officer should definitely be charged, he should be aware of what he is doing especially with a deadly weapon

However, I also agree with tate and Victoria that it is too often when we hear about officers killing people on "accident". Things like this are not accidental
