Hawkstrong day made me realize how much I will miss this school. Even though these past two years have been rough, I'm proud to say we stuck together :)
Yeah, the whole day was just exciting with so many events happening throughout the day! I remember, after the lip dub and walking through the crowd to get to my car- everyone was making comments like : "El Dorado is seriously the best school ever"; "best day ever"; "I love this school so much"; "I just love how we are one big family"- and I just walked by with a huge smile knowing that all of that is true and that I get to say that I am a part of this family~so honored, thankful, and blessed.
I realize how cheesy that sounds, but it is all true :)
I thought the day was amazing. I had a lot of fun, and enjoyed having the school together on one day. The food was DELICIOUS and the raffles were fun. I think the day could have been improved if the raffles were called louder with a little more organization.
I think it was a great idea and planned out well. My only fix would be the prize winners announcement at lunch because I really couldn't hear all the names called.
