Armed groups raided a South Sudanese school and seized 89 children who were taking their exams. kidnappers conducted house to house searches, taking away victims by force, which included boys over age 12.
I think that they should create a safer environment in the South Sudanese school because if someone can kidnap kids that easily, they don't have a safe enough security. Maybe the U.S. can help them with their safety. I'm not sure how they can find them but for sure they should have trained investigators to search for them, maybe the U.S. can also get involved and help search too.
To prevent these raids they should tighten up their security. It's extremely difficult to find abducted people, I don't know how they can find them but I really hope theyre putting all their efforts towards finding them because the longer the time away the more likely it is for something bad to have happened :( My heart goes out to their families.
Security should be provided to look out for the streets and civilians. A search party should be sent out to look for the children, while an investigation is being conducted.
it is a fact that it is very hard to find abducted children. i wish south Sudan luck in finding the children. however i believe there should be some form of security at schools in these dangerous developing countries.
I feel like the South Sudan should adjust their priorities and place the safety of people on the top of the list. Too many abductions take place in completely avoidable situations just like this one. Security should most definitely be present in places of danger.
it is so sad how schools can't be a safe environment for some people. We should be so thankful! But for this school, they should have more security guarding the school- protecting the children
