I think that lethal injections are a better option for the death penalty rather than the electric chair. It's not as cruel as being electrocuted to death
The death penalty over all is a tricky situation. For this particular situation, questioning which method of killing someone is "more humane" is even trickier. With the recent "botched" executions, the lethal injection has come under fire. I believe, however, that with further investigation and research, a more perfect concoction that will not allow for error will emerge and will provide a more "ethical" and "humane" form of execution. This argument is purely based on the premise of being pro-death penalty; anti-death penalty is a whole other argument.
I think that lethal injection is meant to be the least painful way of execution. if someone is sentenced to death this is in no way cruel and unusual compared to old traditions such as the electric chair or being hanged.
I personally don't believe in the death penalty in any way because I think its wrong BUT if i did then i would side with with lethal injections because then it should cause less pain for the persons death.
I am not sure. I think its good to have it as an option as opposed to the electric chair or death by fire squad. It may be cruel, but they probably have done something cruel to get where they are.
I think that lethal injection is not as cruel and unusual as other forms of execution but more research needs to be done to find a way to remove the possibility of error.
I think that with the lack of scientific evidence proving the death as humane that this certainly is cruel and unusual. The science behind injections needs to be improved to lessen chances at long suffering before death before injections are used for death sentences.
I do not think lethal injections are cruel and unusual. If the person received the death penalty they obviously did something horrible. They are getting a painless death.
